I’m passionate about small business. Small business is the backbone of our country’s economy. But more importantly, many small businesses represent the hopes and dreams of the owner. I help these people prepare for and resolve legal issues that are a part of their business. I focus on the following industries: Health Care, Auto, Franchises. Much of my work involves preparing and reviewing contracts, resolving disputes, and addressing regulatory requirements.

I’ve been involved in health care since I was a college undergrad. I interned with the general counsel office of Intermountain Healthcare–a not-for-profit system of 22 hospitals, 185 clinics, a Medical Group with some 1,400 employed physicians. As a lawyer, I assist providers with legal issues that arise in the course of their practice. I have helped providers resolve medical board complaints, business disputes, government investigations, malpractice claims, and employment matters. I prepare and review contracts, including employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, vendor agreements, and HIPAA related documents.
